The problem is still occuring on the OfficeJet 6500. The printout is
shifted to the top of the paper if the margin is small sometimes a part
of the page is missing.  It happens with any printed pdf from evince.  I
do not know if it affects also other pdf viewers like acrobat or other
programs like libreoffice (I could try).

  evince prints shifted or black pages

Status in evince package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Evince printed pdfs shifted by about 2cm up - such that the Headline cant be read. 
  I played around with the settings and now evince just prints entirely black pages. 

  I switched to okular which works.

  Please tell me if I can provide additional information.  Printer is a
  OfficeJet 6500. The shifting also occurs on a LaserJet.
