[Bug 1412312] [NEW] SHIFT + Numpad arrow produces garbage

Public bug reported:

Pressing
Shift + Numpad Left produces 4
Shift + Numpad Right --> 6
Shift + Numpad Up --> 8
Shift + Numpad Down --> 2
Shift + Numpad Home --> 7
Shift + Numpad End --> 1
Shift + Numpad PgUp --> 9
Shift + Numpad PgDn --> 3

It is expected to behave as non numpad arrows. Pressing Shift with non
numpad arrows changes selection just fine.

I don't know which package is responsible but it seems to affect any
application (I tested in nautilus, gedit, Firefox)

This bug can be reproduced in Ubuntu 14.04.01 LTS, Ubuntu 14.10
