Title:
  Printing booklet with multiple portrait and landscape pages

Status in The OpenOffice.org Suite:
  Confirmed
Status in libreoffice package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid
Status in openoffice.org package in Ubuntu:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: openoffice.org

  Introduction:

  http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?p=231016#231016

  How do i print a document in booklet and duplex mode from a document
  that has multiple portrait and landscape orientated pages with
  oowriter?

  Problem:

  The portrait pages are going fine. However the landscape pages are
  printed portrait orientated and not landscape. It doesn't spread out
  over its selected area on the paper sheet.

  So how can we get the landscape pages printed in landscape when
  printing a brochure?

  I would really like to see a solution with oowriter, so i can print
  brochures from normal documents directly with oowriter.

  The process:

  See the openoffice.org internal help for more info:

  Reproduction:

  Step 1:
  Create a document with mixed portrait and landscape pages like this document

  Step2:
  File -> Printer settings -> Select printer (pdf virtual printer)
  File -> Printer settings -> Properties ->
  Paper Size : A4
  Orientation: Landscape
  Duplex: Short Edge
  Paper Tray: Tray 1

  Step 3:
  File -> Print option -> Column: Pages -> Check: brochure, left page and right page
  Print to file -> test.ps
  or to printer or to virtual printer
