I think Ines' problem is with the use of the word "comparable" which
is a bit ambiguous.

We use it in the sense of "can be compared", but comparable is also
commonly understood to mean similar - "football players of comparable
ability", "Johan's beer is comparable to anything you might buy in the
pub" etc.

I've changed "comparable" to the more explicit "can be reasonably compared"
