Thanks for the email. I’m looking forward to the new release. I tried the steps you had outlined above, but when I try to save the data entry form, I’m getting an error message:

Funny thing you reported this problem just now. We too discovered the problem of names showing in the fields in data entry yesterday, and we also managed to fix it.

The dark background colour I have not seen, try to change the colour in data entry form editor.

We are releasing 2.0.5 beginning of next week, keep an eye on dhis2.org<http://dhis2.org> or the mailing list and the fix for this bug will be included there, as well as many new features and bug fixes.

Before you get your hands on the new release a workaround to this problem is to open the form in the dataset->edit data entry form window and click "save and close" and then reopen in dataentry. This problem of seeing the data element names in the data entry fields happens when you:
1) in data entry form EDITOR click cancel
2) in data entry open the same form that was just cancelled in the editor.

As long as you don't use the cancel button in data entry form editor this should not happen.

As I said, in 2.0.5 this problem has been fixed.

Hi Knut

I hope things are well. I’m having a problem with the irc2 dhis version. This is a new problem that just started. On the data entry screen (below), the data entry boxes have the data element name in a darker font than usual, and the names need to be deleted before data can be entered. Do you know if this is because of a setting change I can do from here?
