Re: Challenges Deploying DHIS2 to a Remote Host

 

In general, you will need to add something like

export DHIS2_HOME=/home/dhis2user/conf/hibernate.settings

to your .bash_profile.

However, this must be the same user as the tomcat user (which is not
likely although possible).

Using Tomcat 5 is not advisable due to poor performance and memory issues.

It should run on any operating system, including any flavor of Linux.
