Hi Joseph,

$DHIS2_HOME contains hibernate.property file must be configured with proper dhis2 database instance installed along 

with apporiate user name and password. No problem you can call dhis2 application login page with localhost:8080

What is the name of the WAR file? if you are using tomcat, and you want it at that location.. it must be named ROOT.war, if you downloaded dhis.war and started the server, it should be localhost:8080/dhis
