Re: Easy way to import indicators into new database

 

Hi Arthur,

If you haven't done this already,  attached is an excel template that you
can use to transform your indicator list into fields that can be imported
into the DHIS-2 indicator table.  I've left a couple of sample rows for you
to see what the content should be like.  Note that after you have imported
the list, you still need to make sure that all of the data elements needed
are in the system and then create the correct formulas for numerators and
denominators manually.

The current CSV import doesn't support importing indicators, but if you
have access to the backend in Postgres it would be pretty easy to import
these with a small SQL script that also assigns uid and indicatorid fields
automatically.
