how to analyse Program data with category as attribute

Hi
I need to build Event and Tracker forms with category combo as attribute
(e.g. Donor). As I can make out it is possible to analyse data through
program indicators and apply categories in Pivot table and Visualizer.

Is it not at all possible to view category-wise data in Event reports?
