Public bug reported:

Ever since I upgraded to the 0.8 alpha 2 my session management plugin
was not working. today I upgraded to the final release and it's still
not working. The weird thing is, it's working on my other computer and
other people are reporting that it works as well..

The commands: shutdown, restart, hibernate, restart do not work on my
machine.

I'm on Ubuntu 8.10 with all the latest updates.
