[Bug 1228459] [NEW] Item #1 states wrong side for icon
Public bug reported:
In the description to add a printer, it states to click the system
settings icon on the far right side. The system settings icon is on the
far left side. Perhaps the author was facing the wrong way when he was
in front of the monitor. In my best attempt to follow guidelines, the
release (distro in Linux lingo) of Ubuntu I am using is 13.04. I have no
idea of what version of what package that is being referred to in step
#2. After spending weeks trying to get my Lexmark X2650 printer to work,
and combing through reams of troubleshooting, support and help articles,
I finally looked at a video on Youtube and was indirectly informed that
Lexmark printers do not work with Linux. Finally, I tried a cheap HP
D1660 printer and to my utter surprise had a working printer in less
than 2 minutes. The moral......don't even bother if the printer is not
on the list provided
** Affects: ubuntu-docs (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
