i forgot to add incase its needed. im running ubuntu 13.10 and do like
it except a few things i cant figure out whats going wrong.

  i cant find any help anywhere to my problems.

Bug description:
  i understand this isnt a bug but i cant seem to figure this out
  anywhere and no matter what i do someone undervotes my questions at
  ask.ubutu. so now i cant even ask. so now i have nowhere else to get
  assistance and its really annoying. i do have issues and cant find any
  answers anywhere and now i cant even ask them. so what the hell am i
  supposed to do? at this point i am extremely frustrated.
