Title:
  [1 mod] Mono: Patch U+EFFD to current version

Status in Ubuntu Font Family:
  In Progress
Status in fonts-ubuntu package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  In the 0.80 version, the Ubuntu Mono members were patched to have the
  version debug symbol at U+F000 patched to read '0.8'

    for glyphname, offset, runt in zip(('zerosuperior', 'period',
  'eightsuperior'), xrange(-150, 1000, 150),
  e.getElementsByTagName('contour')):

  This was done somewhat hackishly using ttx to XML and back again.
  Ideally this could be changed using a macro in FontLab (as for the
  proportional members) in future versions. The code that was used is:

    patch-ttx-version-to-0.8.py::main()
    http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~sladen/ubuntu-font-family/midstream/revision/32
