Message #03854
[Bug 2076220] [NEW] [24.04] inconsistencies and typo
Public bug reported:
Hello,
I hope this is the right place to report this, since i don't know if
this could be called a bug per say...
- Under 'Ubuntu Desktop Guide > Visual overview of GNOME > Activities overview' :
« At the bottom of the overview, you will find the dash. »
On my freshly installed 24.04, the dash is not at the bottom but on the
left side. Maybe the words "below the Activities button" was meant to be
used? Even so, the dash image next to that sentence is not at the
default dash position.
« Click the grid button (which has nine dots) in the dash to display the applications overview. »
On my end, the button isn't a grid but a wheel with 3 circles.
« Click any application to run it, or drag an application to the onto a workspace shown above the installed applications. »
" [...] to the onto a workspace [...] "
Some weirdness happened here :P
Have a good day!
