Looks like all that is needed is to make sure that the tests get
built. Maybe add enableTests=yes?
Then libcppunit-dev needs to be installed and -lcppunit must be added
when building.
Other than that, it seems to work to just run the top-level script
test.py which will recurse and run both C++ and Python unit tests.
