I finally got it to compile. The demos seem to run but they don't output
anything at the bash prompt. I think this is because I disabled DEBUG. I
had to in order for it to compile. Otherwise, I think it worked. I guess
doing it on Linux would be better.... :| But I will say it is mostly a
cygwin problem. It should be doable to compile everything within windows.
But I think I will just connect to a LINUX box from now on! :)
