Jack is still having a problem:
I've tried the steps above and for some reason, it's just not being
found. I've tried to set CGAL_DIR explicitly, I've triedcgal 3.5.1, 3.6,
3.6.1 and cgal from macports,  all to no avail. I've also tried
including cgal in the snowleopard.platform script and it still doesn't
find it.

Could you possibly include it in a next revision of the dorsal
snowleopard.platform script so that dorsal builds it directly. Then I
could test it.
