  Hi,

Armadillo 1.0.0 has been released in November, and it installs by default (at least on my system, Gentoo) into

   * headers: /usr/include/armadillo_bits/*
   * /usr/lib64/libarmadillo.so

Hence, looking for the headers in ${ARMADILLO_DIR}/include will not be successful.
