i should say i was also thinking about 'environment manager' but i
thought that environment is a much larger term and somebody may treat
say gnome or bash settings as part of his environment. what confuses me
is that 'devbuntu' is a name of an os so 'Devbuntu Environment Manager'
should be something that manages every bit of this os. in fact we'll be
only managing one piece of os environment - the development environment.
so maybe we should call it something like 'development environment
manager'? it's 3 a.m. so i'm not so awake to generate something better.
anyway if we won't find another name then 'devbuntu environment manager'
will do.

jay
