After upgrading from Raring to saucy, the eclipse menu stopped working in the global-menu.
Only top-level menu entries are populated, but nothing appears in the menus themselves. This is true for the eclipse package (3.8) as well as for a stock eclipse (4.3).

I think this is a regression, and might be related to
