[Bug 1234921] [NEW] UX: awkward interface for 'Recent apps' after manually stopping an app

Public bug reported:

The user experience is awkward after manually stopping an app. Eg:

1. open two apps
2. swipe left to right to get to the applications sctop
3. under Recent apps, long touch an app to close it

At this point there is still an 'X' on the currently open app, so it
can't be selected from the Recent apps. Swiping right to left brings up
the currently running app, but then swiping left to right again shows
the applications scope with the running app under Recent apps with an
'X' on it still. Launching another app under Installed apps will launch
it, but swiping left to right in the applications scope will show that
both it and the other running apps have an 'X' on them. The only way
I've found to 'reset' Recent apps is to scroll all the way to the bottom
of the home scope and then back up. This works on mako, but doesn't seem
to on grouper.
