[Bug 1237072] [NEW] Dash Home displays no results (spins forever): "Valid key file could not be found in search dirs"

 

Public bug reported:

I've upgraded to Ubuntu 13.10 (development) from 13.04.

When tapping the Super key, the Dash appears, but is empty.
When typing anything, the loading indicator spins forever.

unity displays the following on STDERR:
