[Bug 1240104] [NEW] Edges are cut off on HD TV connected via HDMI
Public bug reported:
I am trying to use Ubuntu 13.10 (saucy) on a PC with an Nvidia card and
a Telefunken 55" HD TV (4k ready).
The edges are cut off, i.e. the icons of the launcher are only partially
visible. I already found a few suggestions on askubuntu, but none of
them work.
I switched off upscaling, but the TV is very limited in what can be
configured by the user.
I am not using the proprietary Nvidia driver, which means using nvidia-
settings is not an option either.
