[Bug 1247373] [NEW] Empathy’s “Insert Smiley” menu doesn't display correctly

Public bug reported:

The Conversation > Insert Smiley menu in Empathy is a little special: it
provides images, not text, for each supported smiley, arranged on a grid
to save space and showing a tooltip with the related text used for the
smiley.

In Ubuntu's global menu however, it's displayed as a long, empty menu,
no grid, no images and no tooltips. Selecting an entry still inserts the
smiley in the conversation window, but it's not really usable that way.

I'm submitting this as a new report for bug #596103, as advised ba mpt.

** Affects: indicator-appmenu (Ubuntu)
