[Bug 1251992] [NEW] Non-existent display is present and mouse cursor is flickering

 

Public bug reported:

On a fresh install of ubuntu 13.04 64-bit on asus u32v the mouse cursor
is flickering. Moreover, in Displays, there are 2 screens instead of
one.

This workaround has helped and probably can lead to deeper understanding
