Message #06262
[Bug 1255974] [NEW] 'e' character does not render properly (or at all)
Public bug reported:
When searching for applications in Unity's Dash search box, the 'e'
character is never displayed. Strangly, all I see is a blank space. For
example, if I type "abcdefg" I actually see "abcd fg". It's as if the
font is missing an 'e'.
This only seems to happen in the Dash's search box. Other applications
(e.g. Gedit, Firefox etc.) display the 'e' correctly although I have
noticed occasional screen corruption when rendering characters in some
cases.
Honestly, this is not a joke (see the attached screenshot).
