[Bug 410169] [NEW] The notification bubbles are lagged (delayed)
You have been subscribed to a public bug:
I am using Linux Mint kernel 2.6.28-11-generic and Gnome Desktop 2.26.1.
I really like the new notification system but I have the following
annoying problems:
- when I listen to music (no matter what player that displays notification bubbles I'm using), and change the tracks, the notifications don't change accordingly (they are lagged and the lag can take up to 2-5 seconds); for example if I move rapidly through my playlist, I will still receive the notifications of the songs I went through, even after I'm done and I am currently listening to something
- this also happens with skype or xchat...the notification bubbles are delayed and they stay on screen too long, so they aquire a great lag if someone types fast
I made a few inquires but I couldn't find a way to change the animation
duration for the notification bubbles. If there is such a way, and might
help me deal with the problems above, please let me know.
Thank you very much.
