  notification not shown near panel

Status in “notify-osd” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  in Lucid with elementary-desktop this behaviour was fixed, but after
  upgrading to Maverick it is again a "problem":

  all notifications (volume notification is correct) aren't shown
  directly under the panel. instead they are shown with space between
  the bubble an the panel
