[Bug 1289099] Re: [SRU] Window Matching fixes

Hello Robert, or anyone else affected,

Accepted libunity-webapps into saucy-proposed. The package will build
now and be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libunity-
webapps/2.4.8+13.10.20140327-0ubuntu1 in a few hours, and then in the
-proposed repository.

Please help us by testing this new package. See
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to
enable and use -proposed. Your feedback will aid us getting this update
out to other Ubuntu users.

If this package fixes the bug for you, please add a comment to this bug,
mentioning the version of the package you tested, and change the tag
from verification-needed to verification-done. If it does not fix the
bug for you, please add a comment stating that, and change the tag to
verification-failed. In either case, details of your testing will help
us make a better decision.

Further information regarding the verification process can be found at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/PerformingSRUVerification . Thank you in
advance!

  [SRU] Window Matching fixes

Status in “libunity-webapps” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released
Status in “libunity-webapps” source package in Saucy:
  Fix Committed

Bug description:
  [Impact]

   * Window matching behaviors are deficient. This means that the Dash
does not always correctly indicate which app is active, and sometimes
two icons can be displayed for the same app (one that stays
permanently for launching, and one that appears only when the app is
  running).

  [Test Case]

   * Browse to the affected website, notice the behavior of the webapps in the Dash is inconsistent. Behavior can include -
    * Browser Launcher item is not associated with the appropriate WebApp Launcher item
    * Two items may appear associated with the WebApp (instead of one)
    * Icon may appear as Launcher default, not the appropriate WebApp icon

  [Regression Potential]

  * Quite small, this change is confined to libunity-webapps and can't
impact anything outisde of the webapps interaction in Unity.
