Does opening and closing the dash restore the icons to their normal
state? If so, this bug is present in Unity-3D too (in Ubuntu 13.10)

  Drag And Drop Launcher Bug

Status in “unity-2d” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  This is not urgent because Launcher is working. This is rather anoying
  bug. Visualy it looks like icon are blocked (shaded) but they are
  clicakble and working by default action.

  So when user wants to drag and drop item,  Launcher became shaded and
  one icon is visible (Look at attached image). In this situation I was
  open two seperate nutilus windows and dragging item from one directory
  to another. Suddenly Launcher is shaded. Is this graphic driver issue?
  I dont know.
