Title:
  Open system settings disables external monitor

Status in “unity-settings-daemon” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  I have an external display attached. When I open system settings in
  top panel right button-> system settings ( or through other approach
  to enter the sub settings directly like time applet-> Time&Date
  Settings) , the external monitor is disabled for no reason. And after
  that I click the "Display" in system settings, the external monitor is
  enabled again. This combined with other bug(1304531) that move
  maximized windows around makes the open system settings process
  painful. It usually happens only once after reboot, then it is fine.
