Message #16114
[Bug 1324064] [NEW] lock screen doesn't allow ^U or ^W
Public bug reported:
The new lock screen password input doesn't respect the ^U and ^W
keyboard shortcuts.
To reproduce, lock the screen and type some characters. Hit Control+U
and notice nothing changes. Hit Control+W and notice nothing changes.
Expected behavior: I would expect both keys to delete the entire input.
(While ^W deletes words in most programs, this should probably not
expose word boundaries to casual viewers.)
See how bash and vim handle ^W and ^U. I'd expect the same from the
password prompt.
Thanks
