Public bug reported:

When select a window in scale mode, the link underneath the mouse
pointer will be automatically opened.

How to reproduce:

 1. open the PDF (doc_with_url.pdf) with Evince
     https://launchpadlibrarian.net/178628332/doc_with_url.pdf
 2. close other windows
 3. press "Super + W" to trigger scale mode
 4. select the window of Evince by mouse click
 5. repeat 3. - 4. multiple times

Expected result:
 There is only one window of evince.

Actual result:
 Web browser will be opened and it has multiple tab of "http://launchpad.net/";.

This behavior is observed at least with Evince and Pidgin.
