Message #20970
[Bug 1357452] [NEW] left click trash bin opens gedit
Public bug reported:
Left click trash bin icon does not open trash folder instead it opens
gedit. Trash gets emptied by right click on trash bin icon. Also
nautilus opens trash folder neatly.
When I uninstalled gedit thru synaptic the problem goes away. But this
cannot be a fix!
gedit version 3.4.1
Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
3.2.0-67-generic-pae
I tried to see if booting with an older kernel 3.2.0-65 generic pae
would solve the problem. No it doesn't
