Message #31217
[Bug 1443005] [NEW] Indicator shouldn't set volume on pulse/account service if the volume didn't change
Public bug reported:
current build number: 168
device name: mako
channel: ubuntu-touch/devel-proposed
alias: ubuntu-touch/vivid-proposed
last update: 2015-04-12 03:49:09
version version: 168
version ubuntu: 20150411
version device: 20150210
version custom: 20150411
This is a regression from RTM.
The current logic doesn't check for the volume value before calling
pulseaudio and account service when updating the volume variable. The
consequence is that it will set the volume at least twice after you
change it, since it will get a callback from account service, and that
will result in another volume set with the exact same volume.
** Affects: indicator-sound (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
