  indicator applet complete - logout button fails with multiple users

Bug description:
  install new ubuntu mate 18.04

  enable mutiny in mate tweaks

  setup 4 users

  login as one user

  switch users via indicator applet complete

  switch back to first user via indicator applet complete

  log out first user

  log in as any other user

  logout button in indicator applet complete no longer works for this user
  -also logged out users appear to be still logged via a checkbox beside the logged out user name

  using a system menu does work

  only way to restore correct behavior of logout button is to reboot
