[Bug 764171] [NEW] package gimp 2.6.8-2ubuntu1.2 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 139
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gimp
using Ubuntu 10.04 LTS
- the Lucid Lynx
Sorry I don't know what would be out of the ordinary except that this is a slow old Pentium 3 computer.
So I hope I am not wasting your time.
I asked the update manager to check for updates then I clicked a button to update all. Roughly 68MiB of packages Downloaded and installed and got the error message about GIMP failing to install that is in this report.
I plan to retry.
