Public bug reported:

Upstream tuxpaint-stamps has 100% (string) translations in e.g. Finnish
(last updated in 2010, while tuxpaint-stamps-default in Ubuntu is a
version from 2009 in Maverick and apparently in Natty too). The latest
stamp translations do not seem to be accessible through the Ubuntu
packages - the rest of Tuxpaint shows up translated to me, but the
effects and stamps are almost completely untranslated. Wouldn't it be
high time to incorporate these? http://www.tuxpaint.org/help/po/

The stamps translations are actually a major part of the educative side
of Tuxpaint, as e.g. all the animal and fruit pictures are named in the
package.
