[Bug 1004476] [NEW] gimp missing unity launcher symbol and globalmenu bugs

Public bug reported:

When opening gimp 2.6 I see a symbol popping up in the unity launcher, but immediately it disappears.
Also when hitting alt + tab there is no gimp window even if it is visible on the desktop.
Third when opening a lot new windows with strg + shift + c then strg + shift + v this crashed my gimp globalmenu.
I had the menu and entries like File and so on. But selecting File or such opens a dropdown which is like 5 pixels high and has none sub-entries whatsoever.
