[Bug 1027371] [NEW] calibre crashed with SIGSEGV in QTextEngine::itemize()

I just upgraded from 12.04 to 12.10 and calibre crash on startup (making
crash also the Window manager), with a lot of window size error. This is
a bug that has been fixed in 12.04 and reappear in 12.10.
