[Bug 1280505] [NEW] Librecad opens but the window doesnt pop up

Public bug reported:

I downloaded ubuntu 13.10 for my packard bell easynote laptop .

The installing worked OK from a bootable USB .

The problem is i downloaded some applications from the softwarecenter
and none of them

really opens up when i launch them .

I can see the icon glow and the little arrow appears left off them but
the window never pops up .

Even when i change tab it shows the program icon but when i select it
nothing happens .

Having this with librecad , freecad , sometimes the terminal , and other
stuff that i got from the softwarecenter .

for the terminal its just sometimes but like librecad or freecad i didnt
even had a chance to open the programs once ...

Would really like some help or good advice .

grtz
