Public bug reported:

Sometimes while trying to populate an image frame, Scribus freezes and I
must force quit the application. It happens both when selecting the
image to load or changing directory. No crash dialog appears, the app
just stops doing anything. It doesn't happen always, but just sometimes.
If someone may help me I will be happy to help more debugging and
submitting logs and other.
