[Bug 1471279] [NEW] problem installing moodle via synaptic
Public bug reported:
Trying to install MOODLE using synaptic, but it does not work.
In short, it seems that moodle is installed on /usr/share/moodle, but
apache serves files on /var/www/html.
Long description of my test:
- installed ubuntu 15.04 amd64 in a virtualized virtualbox machine (language: brazillian portuguese);
- installed all updates;
- installed synaptic;
- installed MYSQL server (using synaptic);
- installed moodle (using synaptic):
- warning about libphp-adodb:
"the lib is not installed under /usr/share/adodb anymore.
New path is /usr/share/php/adodb. Please update file php.ini.
May be necessary to change web server configuration"
- setting url for moodle site: http://localhost/moodle
- "config moodle database with dbconfig-common?": YES
- database type: choose MYSQL
- setting passwords for moodle, mysql ...
- tested apache installation using: http://localhost - OK
- tested moodle: http://localhost/moodle: NOT FOUND
** Affects: moodle (Ubuntu)
