Yes, that's why there's a separate team that doesn't have direct
access to code but can propose code for merging into main branch.
I think we should set up something similar with design. This way we'll
get more designers involved (we're growing all the time and *will*
need more designers sooner or later) - by the time we really need
them, they'll be already familiar with conventions/hig/whatever.
