Re: OpenGL performance with Gala

 

That's the interesting thing: the daemon is launched automatically with
DBus as root, so you can set the priorities with renice_gamed without
needing to be root. But, of course, only for the binaries listed in
/etc/gamed.conf (allowing to set it for any program would be a security
hole).
