hello leonardo,

my language is hebrew. my english is not so good. but try.

My keyboard layout works like this:

Unfortunately, I have not yet used in elementary os, I do not have my own
computer and I use other people's computers with Microsoft Windows. But I
am passionate follower of elementary os.

in hebrew we have 'niqqud'. you can read about it here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Niqqud

There's all kinds of techniques, and makes perfect sense that what I sent
to you is not the preferred method, but it seems to me that this common
method.
