Re: [Question #180789]: setting up Samba for printer sharing

Question #180789 on samba in Ubuntu changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/samba/+question/180789

    Status: Answered => Open

hagen is still having a problem:
Dear Actionparsnip,

Running smbtree gives no results, and I assume that to mean that Samba
has made no connection with the Windows machine.
I have specifically configured a firewall, either on the Linux laptop or
on the Windows desktop PC. While I'm not sure whether Kubuntu has a
"standard" firewall, I'm pretty shure that the Windows machine probably
has.

Regards
Hagen
