[Question #244126]: can't access network

Hi, 
When I want to go to the network, I click on 'Network' in the 'Go' drop down menu, it then shows me all the networks my computer can access. But when I want to access on eit tells me : Unable to mount location - Failed to retrieve share list from server.
What shall I do.
I'm not a it expert at all ! And I really like ubuntu, so I'd love to be able to access the network, otherwise it's back to Windows....
