Re: I propose moving hosting sites

Ray, other than a place to host binaries, is there any value to starting a Google Code project? It seems like every other project need could be met with existing or targeted services.

SCM: Github
Issue tracker: Orbitz's hosted Jira instance
Mailing list: Google Groups
Wiki: continue with wikidot or use Github
Blog/News: wiki?
Binary hosting: Orbitz supplied Apache instance, upload to iBiblio?

Thanks so much Doug, before we go crazy on github we need to:
move to a new mailing list
remove the source code from launchpad
decide what we we're going to do about using google.code for binaries, wiki, etc

i know ray is in favor of using google.code in pair with github - it supplies a wiki and a google groups for discussions and such. any objections to creating an erma project on google.code and continuing this discussion over there?

Done.

If anyone has any inflight bzr changes, you can convert them to a Git repo and everything will work correctly. Here's the page I used to accomplish that with the official repo.

Also, if you get stuck on what command to use in git, ping me on IM or email.
