That is very strange. When I'm hacking on the Xorg driver of PSB, it
often crashes X and restarts X even when psb-driver is still loaded...

What is the xorg-log saying (found mostly under /var/log/gdm/:0.log)

Bug description:
  that pretty much sums it up; if i don't load psb before I launch X,
  then it works great; I even have framebuffer on console when i switch
  back to console.  i'm surprised nobody would have reported this.
